The World Health Organization announced that the COVID-19 viral disease that has swept into at least 114 countries is now officially a pandemic, Well I can think of a more serious pandemic virus that has affected all humans in all nations, and that is the sin virus that came out of the Garden of Eden. We know that the victim and the culprit was Adam. However just as God had a solution for the sin virus, he also has a solution for the Coronavirus. The solution is the same - The blood of Jesus. The Scripture is very clear,
And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
Exodus 12:13
The blood caused the plague to passover and not stopover. It stopped over all the houses of the Egyptians and wreaked havoc but for those who were under the blood it had to pass over. It did not hangover or stayed over or stopover but passed over! The blood of an innocent lamb was shed and applied by God's people to escape the sting of the death angel. Egypt did not have that exemption therefore they faced destruction. For God's people it was not a question of stopover but passover., because they placed their faith in the substitutionary blood which is a type of the blood of the Lord Jesus shed for us on the Cross of Calvary. Today, the answer to the Coronavirus is still placing our faith in the sacrificial blood of the Lord Jesus. Satan has no weapon in his arsenal that can deal with the blood of Christ,
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony...
Revelation 12:11
- We overcome Satan by the blood
- We overcome the Coronavirus by the blood
- We overcome any works of Satan by the blood
So with all the fear-mongering out there by the media, you need to tell the Coronavirus -
'You pass over and not stopover.'
'Get lost, Coronavirus. I don't belong to you nor to the blood of the first Adam, I belong to Jesus and I am under his blood!'
CoronAvirus will not hang over, stay over or stopover your house but will pass over! The plague shall not be upon you to destroy you.
Allow me to briefly give you three things the blood of Christ has made available to you through redemption,
1 Exemption
...when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
Revelation 12:11
Just like Israel was exempted from the death angel so are we from the Coronavirus. Let that be your confession today, 'My redemption gives me exemption from Coronavirus. Get lost Satan!'
2 Protection
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony...
Revelation 12:11
The blood protected them from the death angel in Egypt and the blood protected Israel when David had sinned. Another angel which had his sword drawn out had to put it back in the sheath because the blood was shed.
David looked up and saw the angel of the Lord standing between heaven and earth, with a drawn sword in his hand extended over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell facedown... David built an altar to the Lord there and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. He called on the Lord, and the Lord answered him with fire from heaven on the altar of burnt offering. Then the Lord spoke to the angel, and he put his sword back into its sheath.
1 Chronicles 21:16, 26,27
3 Separation
Just like Israel was separated from Egypt because of the blood, and the angel of death had no power and authority over God's blood bought people, you will see a clear separation between the world and the church. To be more specific you will a clear separation between the fake church and the real church. There are those who are seeker friendly but preach a bloodless gospel and then there are those who preach the uncompromised Word of God. You will see a clear separation between those who have bowed the knees to Baal and those who have uncompromisingly stood on the Word of God.
These are the last days and God is shifting the fake from the real. Be part of the real body of Christ - The fearless and the faithful!
The fearful world does not need a fearful church but need a fearless church who still has faith in the blood of Christ and will tell the devil with his Coronavirus,
'Passover and don't stop over!'
