Downloading Your Harvest with the joy of the Holy Ghost

Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Righteousness - the nature of God deposited in your spirit
Peace - Two Kinds of Peace
            Justifying peace and sanctifying peace
Joy in the Holy Ghost = Joy produce by he Holy Ghost

Acts 13:52  And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.

1 Thessalonians 1:5-6 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake. 6  And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost:

You paid careful attention to the way we lived among you, and determined to live that way yourselves. In imitating us, you imitated the Master. Although great trouble accompanied the Word, you were able to take great joy from the Holy Spirit!—taking the trouble with the joy, the joy with the trouble. (The Message)

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. (Philippians 4:4)

Psalm 30:11-12 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever

“Joy is the infallible sign of the presence of God.” Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
“Joy is the serious business of heaven”  - C.S. Lewis
  • Joy is an ingredient of faith.

  • Joy is God’s strategy for divine exploits

  • Joy is heavenly strategy for miracles in the earth

Isaiah 12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation

Joy is a tool for making withdrawals from your covenantal inheritance
All the impossibility is with us when we measure God by the limitations of our unbelief. S.Wigglesworth

Job 5:22 At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.

1 Peter 1:8, 9 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

You love him even though you have never seen him; though not seeing him, you trust him; and even now you are happy with the inexpressible joy that comes from heaven itself. 9 And your further reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.

1 Peter 1:8-9 You never saw him, yet you love him. You still don’t see him, yet you trust him—with laughter and singing. Because you kept on believing, you’ll get what you’re looking forward to: total salvation. (The Message)

On the day of Pentecost, they were accused of being drunk. Whenever the Spirit is moving, there will be joy in the Holy Ghost evident

Lack of joy triggers desolation. Lack of Joy = Lack of Harvest

Joel 1:10-12 The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth.  Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished. The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.

Your business is not breaking through (dried up) because you lack joy
You need joy
Joy is expressed by
  • Shout of triumph and jubilation
  • Jumping and leaping
  • Clapping and Dancing
  • Singing
  • Laughing
  • Smiling and embracing
1) Joy is my pathway to promotion

Habukkuk 3:17-19 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.  The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

Though the cherry trees don’t blossom
    and the strawberries don’t ripen,
Though the apples are worm-eaten     (worm eaten, wheat fields stunted)
    and the wheat fields stunted,
Though the sheep pens are sheepless (sheep pens sleepless)
and the cattle barns empty, (empty cattle barns)
I’m singing joyful praise to God.
I’m turning cartwheels of joy to my Savior God.
Counting on God’s Rule to prevail,
I take heart and gain strength.
I run like a deer.
I feel like I’m king of the mountain! (The Message Translation)
2) Laughing at famine and destruction indicates you understand your position
Psalm 2:1-5 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.  Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
Ephesians 2:4-6 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,  Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
3) Laughing and rejoicing is the end of barrenness for you
Praise and rejoicing breaks barrenness and spurs breakthroughs and breakouts
Isaiah 54:1-3  Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord.
2  Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
3  For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
Sarah broke 90 years of barrenness by rejoicing and laughing

Galatians 4:22-28

22  For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

23  But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

24  Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

25  For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

26  But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

27  For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

28  Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

Sarah = Barren                                                                  Isaac= Laughter
4) Rejoicing and joy in the Holy Ghost makes the impossible become possible
