Salvation was a master plan of the Godhead in order to redeem mankind. Adam had sold us for nothing to sin by committing high treason.

Today we will look at the work of the Holy Spirit as we decode the word communion since it is Pentecost Sunday.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
2 Corinthians 13:13
This verse reveals the sequence of salvation in the life of the believer on the earth and the progressive work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer on the earth.
Sequence of our salvation:

- Love
- Communion
The grace of Jesus (going to the Cross as the perfect substitute) enabled us to receive the love of the Father for the purpose of communion of the Holy Spirit. The progressive work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer
- Regeneration
- Habitation
- Sanctification
- Communion
Through salvation, the Holy Spirit indwells us, sanctifies us (making us holy conforming to he image of Jesus) and commune with us (direction)
Communion - Koinonia - Pythagoras
Paul was super educated - theologically, philosophy, history
Paul quoted Menander the philosopher and here he is engaging a word that was capped by Pythagoras.
Koinonia has a history behind the word when engaged by Pythagoras and it also has a secular understanding
